I'm always looking for ways to use up the overripe bananas in my kitchen. This chocolate banana cake was moist and delicious. Special dark cocoa was used hence the deep, dark color. For the chocolate frosting, I replaced the milk with KahlĂșa liqueur for extra flavor. My icing was on the dry side so I added milk and water as needed (one tablespoon at a time) until it got to the desired consistency.
