Fourth and final in the 'Bake our Own Bread Event' - Winter Squash Rolls

Butternut squash is one of our go-to dinner sides! I usually steam the squash and add a small amount of butter (not that it needs any butter). It really taste good even on its own. There was some left over squash in our fridge and I was in the process of getting a batch of bread done, so I figured why not make a butternut squash bread. A quick search online led to this winter squash dinner rolls recipe.

I used half of the sugar listed and also added soaked bulgur for extra nutrition. I left mine in the oven for 15 minutes but next time I'd check it at the 10 minute mark.

I had my first roll straight out of the oven. It was really yummy with a generous amount of butter and cheese. It also tasted really good with a tuna salad. I will be trying it with various fillings throughout the week!
