This was my first tiered cake, my first pillow cake, my first gum paste shoes.....it was many first for me! And I loved every moment of it! The mom-to be wanted a basic vanilla cake and I learned that her favorite color was red. Voila! I came up with a design that would include the popular colors for a baby boy as well as red. I am glad that the parents-to-be and guests loved it.
